What Problems Can Be Encountered With The Operation Of Worm Gear Lifts?

The worm gear screw lift can be used singly or in combination, and is able to adjust the lifting or advancing height according to a certain procedure with precise control, either directly driven by an electric motor or other power, or manually. It is available in different structural and assembly forms and the lifting height can be tailored to the user’s requirements. When the friction coefficient of the worm wheel of the lift is 0.8, the lead angle of the worm is less than 4°38′39″, which means that it is self-locking, and vice versa. When the lead angle of the worm is less than the equivalent friction angle between the teeth of the meshing wheel, the organisation is self-locking and can achieve reverse self-locking, i.e. only the worm can move the worm wheel by the worm gear, but not the worm gear by the worm gear. As in the case of the self-locking worm gears used in heavy machinery, the reverse self-locking can play a role in safety maintenance. The worm gear screw lift is a combination of a worm gear reducer and a worm gear nut, etc. cleverly combined together to form a motion combination unit. It can be used individually or combined quickly like a building block by means of couplings to achieve movements such as lifting, reciprocating and turning of objects. It has many advantages such as compact structure, small volume, light weight, wide range of power sources, no noise, easy installation, flexible use, many functions, many forms of support, high reliability and long service life.
